Coach Sarah Morton attended school at Monroe High School from 2007-2011. While batting two ACL tears her sophomore and junior year, she made 1st Team All Wesco every year, and in 2014 was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame.
Sarah went on to play at the University of Washington from 2007-2011, and double majored in Communications and Sociology. She was an All Pac-10 Honorable Mention in 2009, 2010, and 2011. In 2011 she won the Lyon’s Club Assist Award and was first in the Pac 10 for assists to turnover ratio, and second in free throw percentage. She was on the Dean’s List in 2009 and 2010 and won the 101 Club Scholar Athlete Award for having the highest GPA on the team.
She continued her career by playing professionally overseas for one year in Wolfenbuttel, Germany. She returned to the United States and received her Personal Training Certification and Strength and Conditioning Certification to further her knowledge in the sports and fitness industry. She loves sharing her experience and passion for the game of basketball, in addition to the amazing benefits that strength and conditioning can offer!
